More than just a great building company, we bring critical design & sourcing expertise to every project.

We bring a determination to each project that great products are within reach for every budget & we bring the wealth of products & suppliers accumulated over many projects from sash windows, frameless glass doors, cast iron radiators, bespoke joinery, ironmongery & many others.
We have scoured the UK & Europe for products that are better, quicker & often lower cost that the usual "go-to" suppliers.

PORTICO was created by Steve Hughes.
Steve has over 25 years of design experience in in a variety of industries. He set up his first building company in Leamington 18 years ago and more recently was co-founder of a premium Warwickshire building company.
His experience brings the best of small, dynamic building companies with large corporates. He was previously a Director at JCB, MD at Torotrak Plc & procurement specialist for a large house-builder.
